For this comprehensive WebinarJam Studio review, I explored all of the program’s conferencing tools.

This program stands out among other webinar tools because of its jampacked toolbox. Here’s what you can do with it:
Before going live, you need first to plan and configure your broadcast. For this, WebinarJam offers flexible scheduling options:
- Right Now - go live right away and directly invite your attendees through a link.
- Schedule for Later - go live later; attendees must fill in a registration form.
- Always On - set up a room for on-demand webinars.
If you choose to schedule your live webcast for later, you can choose whether to have a single, multiple, or recurring session.
One-Click Attendee Registration
There are many ways to set up audience registration on the program. It can be a form, webpage, social media post, or embedded website button.
Among these options, my favorite is the WebinarJam one-click registration. This feature lets you add a hotlink to your email invitation. The recipients can simply click on it for an instant sign-up.
Now, if you prefer the old-fashioned way where attendees fill in a registration page, that’s easy.
Just open up the landing page builder. Here, you’ll find a template library filled with ready-made sign-up pages. They’re not the best-looking templates we’ve seen, but good thing they are all customizable - you can:
- Upload photos and clips
- Modify the text, font, and colors
- Add logos and branding
- Insert extra buttons
Additionally, WebinarJam has templates for Thank You pages. These can contain registration confirmations, event details, promotions, add-to-calendar prompts, etc.
WebinarJam Automated Recordings
Need to record your event? No need to press that red button. The program automatically records your webinar from start to finish when live. Everything displayed – chats, polls, and offers included – will also be captured.
Once the broadcast is over, you can download the video file and configure it with the Replica Replay setting. This imitates the live webinar, so attendees who missed it will get the same experience.
And the best part? You get the same amount of flexibility for scheduling these replays.
WebinarJam Attendee Spotlight
One of the most interactive aspects of the software is its Attendee Spotlight feature. With it, you can bring participants onto the virtual stage to speak or present beside you, as per the below layout:
Attendees wanting to participate in this capacity can send a request to join the screen, which you can approve or reject. Like the host, they too must run through a last-minute checklist before going live. This will ensure that they have the optimal audio, video, and bandwidth settings for the broadcast. Once that’s complete, they can enter the room immediately!
You can also give them administrator privileges, like ending the event or adding more admins.
You can easily switch them back to attendee mode after completing their presentation.
Your primary engagement capability on WebinarJam is the Live Chat window. You get to interact with your audience in real-time. You can also add sticky notes or pinned messages for important matters.
Instant messaging can get messy, though. For this reason, you can configure different levels of communication in the online chat section. For instance, you can set up a private chat section for you and the admins. Also, you can choose to chat with attendees as a group or individually.
Polls and Surveys
Aside from the chat window, you can also boost audience interaction on WebinarJam via polls and quizzes. You can create them before you go live, then flash them on the computer screen when needed. Or, you can just add them as you go, like the below sample poll:
You can choose whether or not to display the results instantly when the poll is complete.
In addition, you can send surveys to participants after every seminar. Add one to your Thank You page, for example, so that the respondents can answer right away.
This is a great tool to create quick conversions if you’re presenting a sales pitch, product launch, or time-limited promotion. With WebinarJam, you can introduce offers this way:
You can add these product or service offers on the fly. Or, you can prepare them before the broadcast by filling in the information fields and previewing the layout. You can add a sales button for instant action, too.
When going live, just hit the Launch Offer button to flash it on the main window.
The Files window allows you to share documents like MS Word, Excel sheet, Adobe PDF, etc. Practically anything is uploadable, as long as it’s 80 MB or less. For a more seamless sharing experience, consider uploading them before your broadcast.
WebinarJam lets you add video injections without interrupting your presentation. The system switches from live feed to video interchangeably for smooth transitions, reducing any technical difficulty you may encounter when playing videos.
Just link an MP4 file or YouTube video during the configuration stage to accomplish this. You’re also free to add recorded portions of previous webinars.
In addition to videos, you can partner WebinarJam with presentations too. You can upload slide decks from Microsoft Powerpoint or Apple Keynote. And just like in the Files section, this one has an 80 MB size limit.
While you can add these on the fly, I recommend uploading them before your broadcast. Doing so allows for a smoother transition and eases up bandwidth usage.
The WebinarJam drawing board is useful for meetings, lectures, and seminars. When enabled, you can draw on the screen to make the webinar more engaging. Use it to write notes, underline concepts, point out directions, etc.
The great thing about it is you can control the board’s opacity using the slider. At max level, the screen will appear like a blank whiteboard. At mid-level, it becomes translucent, allowing you to draw over your presentations.
When you encounter technical problems on WebinarJam, its Panic Button will save you. You can trigger this reboot tool when you experience lag, or the page becomes unresponsive.
When activated, everyone in the room instantly redirects to a new one.
It will take about 10 to 20 seconds for all presenters and attendees to transfer. Don’t worry, you can pick up where you left off when everyone’s settled.
This feature, however, is exclusive to the Professional and Enterprise versions.
When you’re staging a significant event, managing everything can be stressful. That’s what the Control Center is for. It’s a remote room where you can assign specific tasks to team members, like answering questions or administering polls.
WebinarJam lets you send SMS and email alerts to attendees directly from its dashboard. They can be in the form of:

Naturally, the program’s interface is where you’ll host your webinar. But if you want to reach a bigger audience, you can feed it to third-party platforms like YouTube. And the best part, you don’t need dedicated streaming software!
Fortunately, YouTube’s servers allow you to stream through your YouTube account simultaneously.
You can also stream your seminar directly to Facebook Live.

I found several support channels on the website. However, the company’s lines aren’t always available.
Live Chat assists within these limited times: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM PT and 12:00 AM - 4:00 AM PT, Mondays through Fridays.
Thankfully, I instantly connected with a representative during those times. The agent promptly answered my question about the subscription options.
The WebinarJam email support can take a while to respond. It is better to try your luck with Live Chat.

By far, Zoom is the most popular webinar tool, so it’s only fair to compare its abilities.
Both programs come with essential features:

And while both are extremely easy to use, one beats the other. Zoom requires attendees to download the app to join a meeting. Meanwhile, WebinarJam can host it directly from the browser.
In addition, Zoom lacks the advanced configuration tools you’ll find in WebinarJam. That includes flexible scheduling, clickable offers, and Always-On webinar rooms.
It’s also not as detailed when it comes to reporting. Zoom only shows basic data like average time spent in a room. WebinarJam, on the other hand, can track clicks, email opens, sales conversions, etc.
Pricing-wise, Zoom is clearly among the best WebinarJam alternatives. That is if you are seeking a free solution and you don’t mind its 40-minute cap.
Otherwise, both solutions offer similar-priced plans. While, if you need more seats, features, and flexibility, best to consider WebinarJam.
WebinarJam Pros and Cons
During my software test runs for this WebinarJam review, I found a mix of green and red flags.

Regardless of the subscription plan, you can produce as many webinars as possible on the program – live or recorded!
WebinarJam makes hosting live events fun and engaging. Aside from the Live Chat, you can use interactive tools like polls, video injections, product offers, presentations, and more.
Not many webinar services offer both SMS and email notifications. This tool is among the few solutions that do.
There are loads of WebinarJam templates that make configurations easier. They are also highly customizable, which is excellent for branding consistency.
No monthly subscriptions
You can only pay annually. So if you plan to use the software for only a short period, you don’t have much choice.
Several WebinarJam reviews specify rare instances of latency when streaming. I also experienced a slight delay during one streaming test.
Reduced video quality
Live webinars always display video in HD. You should, though, expect that recorded material for replays has slightly reduced quality.
